The Pope Leo XIV International Study Center promotes the second meeting of the lecture series dedicated to the figure and thought of Saint Augustine, held at the Convent of Santo Spirito in Florence.

Moderated by Sr. Abir Hanna, OSA, from the Monastery of Saint Anthony of Padua in Pennabilli.
The meeting is dedicated to exploring Augustinian thought on the theme of peace, with particular reference to theological and ethical reflections on the relationship between war, justice, and moral order. The conference is part of the scientific and cultural activities of the Study Center, aimed at studying Augustinian spirituality and its relevance to civil and social life.
The conference series, consisting of three events between November 2025 and May 2026, is an integral part of the institutional program of the Pope Leo XIV International Study Center, established at the Augustinian Community of Santo Spirito in Florence.
