The Centro Studi Internazionale Leone XIV ETS is structured through an organizational framework composed of governing bodies and supporting committees, which guide its scientific, cultural, and managerial activities.
The organization is inspired by an academic and institutional model, based on a clear distinction of responsibilities, transparency in decision-making processes, and ongoing dialogue with the Augustinian Community of Santo Spirito in Florence, within which the Center is established.
Governing Bodies of the Study Centre
The governing bodies of the Study Center ensure institutional leadership, the definition of strategic guidelines, and the overall coordination of activities, in compliance with the Statute and the resolutions adopted by the competent bodies.

The President legally represents the Centro Studi Internazionale Leone XIV ETS, coordinates its institutional and cultural activities, and ensures that the Center’s actions are consistent with its mission and with the values of the Augustinian Community of Santo Spirito.

Scientific Director
The Director of the Study Center performs coordination functions for the Scientific Committee, ensuring effective operational liaison between research activities, scientific guidelines, and the governing bodies of the Association.
In accordance with the Statute, and pending the appointment of the President of the Scientific Committee, the Board of Directors has asked Father Giuseppe Pagano to assume this coordinating role in his capacity as Director of the Study Center.

Governing Board
The Board of Directors defines the strategic guidelines of the Center, approves the annual activity plan, and oversees the overall functioning of the Association, coordinating the work of the committees and ensuring the pursuit of the statutory objectives.

Committees of the Study Centre
The Committees support the governing bodies in the development of research activities, third mission initiatives, and engagement with the local area as well as with the national and international context. They operate within the scope of their assigned responsibilities, in coordination with the Board of Directors.
Local Organizing Committee (LOC)
The Local Organizing Committee is responsible for the planning, organization, and operational coordination of the activities of the Leo XIV International Study Center.
Working in coordination with the governing bodies and the Scientific Committee, the LOC oversees the implementation of seminars, conferences, and research initiatives, defining their organizational framework and fostering dialogue with the Augustinian Community of Santo Spirito and with the academic and cultural institutions involved.
Scientific Committee
The Scientific Committee contributes to shaping the Center’s research lines, study programs, publications, and academic collaborations, ensuring scientific quality and a plurality of approaches.
Honorary Committee
The Honorary Committee brings together distinguished figures from the academic, ecclesial, and cultural spheres who offer their symbolic support to the Study Center, helping to strengthen its profile and recognition at both national and international levels.
External Relations Committee
El Comité de Relaciones Externas gestiona las relaciones con universidades, centros de investigación, fundaciones y entidades asociadas, favoreciendo la creación de redes de colaboración y el desarrollo de proyectos conjuntos.
Finance Committee
El Comité Financiero apoya la planificación económica del Centro y supervisa la sostenibilidad de las actividades, la gestión de los recursos y la búsqueda de financiación, de acuerdo con los principios de transparencia y responsabilidad.
Secretariat Staff
El Comité de Secretaría garantiza el apoyo organizativo y administrativo a las actividades del Centro de Estudios, ocupándose de la coordinación operativa entre los órganos directivos, los comités y la Comunidad Agustiniana de Santo Spirito.
